Current MacBook Pro SKU given mark of death in Best Buy database?
I really want this to be true. I’ve been waiting for a MacBook Pro for over 3 years now. It’s time. I want to switch to Mac.

Google Wave

Often I make predictions about the future and I’m wrong, like everyone else. However, being the incredibly intelligent and acute person that I am, I occasionally make some good predictions.

For example, a year ago, in front of a number of witnesses, I predicted/suggested that the Spider-man movie series would be rebooted and based off of the Ultimate Spider-man comic series. I was right.

Now with rumors of Google planning something somewhat important, I felt the need to actually write down my thoughts.

I have said this before, but now I want to actually “publish” it for bragging rights purposes, or to look back on this and laugh at how 2010 I was:

We have not seen the last of Google Wave. It’s been made fun of for being “niche,” a “solution looking for a problem,” and other things, but the fact is that we’re not using it simply because Google doesn’t really want us to yet. It’s still somewhat of a concept. It’s in preview, for Pete and Pete’s sake! Not even alpha or beta.

I’m not saying that Google Wave will have a prominent role in Google’s announcement this week, but Wave will be something that gets a biggger spotlight down the road. The idea of instant communication embedded in everything we do not coming to fruition is just silly.

It may not be the Google Wave we know today, but in one form or another, it’ll have an important role in the Google lifestyle.

Travel Back to 1943 and Witness WWII Through Google Earth

DC Comics fans have always had this sense of superiority over Marvel fans. I myself lean to Marvel. Sure, they often have silly stories and they aren’t as robust, but they’re straight-forward, to the point, and I don’t need Wikipedia at my side to understand all the characters and know what the hell is going on.

Anyway, if this happens, DC fans better shed their 1337 skin and accept that DC is on the same level as Marvel.
